Cozy Irish pub with ample room and all the usual Irish pub options. Stouts, crisps at the bar, some sports on tv, warm corners filled with the locals. Guess you could call this a Midleton staple? On Friday night there was a DJ playing a standard fun dance/wedding mix (this is apparently not common and was for the birthday party, but there is loud music pumping out of the speakers late night either way). Hard to tell what’s happening inside since the windows are covered, but this place ended up jam packed by the end of a Friday night. One con for me, they have a back smoking section that wafted into the main bar. Left smelling like smoke. But good pours of stout.

Great Guiness, lovely feel, really enjoyed several that were well presented, well cellared, lovely pints .. very relaxed atmosphere, with very friendly people, both sides of the bar.
